Experts to Gather at the Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit

Alix Partners director and expert, Chas Spencer, will participate at The Offshore Group’s 16^th Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit as a featured speaker. Mr. Spencer is going to present a recent study entitled ‘Manufacturing – Outsourcing Cost Index: Overview and Highlights’. Apart from Mr. Spencer’s presentation there will also be various topics that will be discussed at this year’s Manufacturing in Mexico Summit. At the summit there will be an overview of the country’s current security situation, as well as of the education and industry partnership, and transportation issues and customs.

As expected, the summit will also discuss about the operating costs for a Mexican manufacturing facility and will include presentations of the Mexican automotive industry, together with foreign trade policies and the impact they have on the maquiladora industry.

Attendees of The Offshore Group’s 16^th Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit will also have the opportunity to see at first hand tour production facilities that are currently in operation and meet executives of experiences Mexican manufacturing companies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to do personalized cost modeling exercises and networking since there will also be social gatherings and other activities going on from October 14 to October 16 in Saltillo, Coahuila, where the summit is being held.
