An autopsy to investigate 27-year-old singer, songwriter Amy Winehouse’s death failed on Monday to determine an exact cause of death.

London police said that it may take between two and four weeks before toxicology test results will be available. Police did say that Winehouse’s death was not considered to be suspicious and that they had concluded an investigation of her apartment. A detail about how Amy Winehouse was found emerged today: a member of her security team found her and called an ambulance.

Winehouse’s family said they will hold a private funeral for her on Tuesday at an undisclosed time and place.

Winehouse’s mother, father, and brother visited her home on Monday to view the large number of bouquets, candles, and hand-written notes left across the road from her Victorian house. Her father, Mitch Winehouse, thanked mourners for their tributes. Her mother was in tears as she viewed the flowers, flags, drawings, and many other tributes left by fans and mourners.

British singer Adele wrote on her blog, “i don’t think she ever realised just how brilliant she was and how important she is, but that just makes her even more charming. although im incredibly sad about Amy passing im also reminded of how immensely proud of her i am as well. and grateful to be inspired by her. Amy flies in paradise xx”
