Actress Jessica Chastain, who has appeared in six movies during the past year, appears topless in a photo shoot by Vanity Fair photographer Mario Testino, that appears in the September 2012 edition of Vanity Fair.
In the interview that accompanies the photo, she talks about “near-crippling insecurity and sensitivity”.
Chastain, an Academy Award nominee for “The Help”, said, “I’ve spent my life being embarrassed. I don’t want people to look at me.” – a seemingly unusual comment for a successful actress, say insiders.
“But Chastain is the queen of using her self-doubt as fuel,” said the article in Vanity Fair.
Jessica Chastain is known for her roles in films that include “The Help”, “The Debt”, “Take Shelter”, and “The Tree of Life”. Since 2008, she has appeared in 17 films and made appearances in nine television programs between 2004 and 2010. She is scheduled to appear in a threater production called “The Heiress” that opens this Fall.
