DiCaprio and Lively split

Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively are reported to have ended their five month relationship on Wednesday.

Representatives of the couple confirmed that the couple broke up and plan to remain friends.

DiCaprio started dating Lively, known for her role in the Gossip Girl, soon after his split with then girlfriend Bar Refaeli, a supermodel.

The couple met on Stephen Speilberg’s yacht in Monte Carlo during the Cannes Film Festival, earlier this year. Lively visited DiCaprio in Australia for 24h where he is filming The Great Gatsby where he plays the lead role of Jay Gatsby.

DiCaprio is reported to have his sights on former Australia’s Next Top Model contestant Alyce Crawford and is reportedly “really into” Crawford. Crawford, 21, has been spotted with DiCaprio at the Beach Haus in Kings Cross – one of his favourite hangouts since he started filming in August.

Lively is reportedly spending time with her Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds. They first met in 2010 while Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson. Reynolds and Johansson divorced this past July.

Reynolds and Lively were recently spotted on a train from New York to Boston and spotted dining together just days ago. Lively was also seen buying groceries – which may mean she has plans to be in town for a while.
