A statement issued by Warner Bros. Television told that “after careful consideration” Charlie Sheen’s services on the show will be terminated with immediate effect.
Warner had already suspended this season’s production of the show due the erratic nature of Sheen’s personal life. Paul McGuire, Warner spokesman, said no decision had yet been made on the future of the show.
When asked about the decision, Sheen did not seem too bothered: “This is very good news,” he told TMZ.com. “They continue to be in breach, like so many whales”.
Rather he appears to be thinking about other work opportunities. Sheen posted an advertisement for a full-time, eight week internship on Twitter, that is said to involve working “closely with Charlie Sheen in leveraging his social network” as well as preparing “exciting online projects.”
To apply for the internship, you need only a name, an email address and a 75 words of less motivation of why you deserve the internship.
“Do you have #TigerBlood? Are you all about #Winning? Can you #PlanBetter than anyone else?” the ad reads .
