On April 16th 2011, Bundaberg Rum, an iconic Australian rum, held multiple events at various locations across Queensland and Victoria in a bid to raise funds for local communities.

The Watermark concerts were held at venues affected by the floods in recent times and had the support of some of Australias finest musical talent.

Bands included Rose Tattoo, Grinspoon, Gangajang, Daryl Braithwaite and the All-Star rock band Raise The Flag. The venues held a barbecue for families in the afternoon which was then followed by a taste of the local talents and national bands.

Bundaberg Distilling Company spokesperson Matt Bruhn said they had scoured the country to secure some of the best talent available.

“We’d like to thank the host of great acts we have scored to play at each venue, who will all go a long way in making Watermark truly memorable and a fantastic day out for the community,” he said.

The Bundaberg Distilling Company donated product to each participating venue, and all sales from Bundaberg Rum on the day will go towards the venue’s nominated local charity.
