In the music world, few artists have a higher profile than Beyonce Knowles. Fans of the international star will soon be able to get closer when a one off ìNight with Beyonceî debuts on ITV1, STV and UTV on Sunday evening.
The event hosted by Steve Jones will see the watch fan perform her greatest and best-known hits including her number one singles ‘Crazy in Love’ and ‘Single Ladies’. The show sponsored by the watch brand Seksy watches will also see the 30 year old Texan perform songs from her most recent album ‘4’.
Beyonce rose to prominence as part of the girl group Destiny’s Child alongside current US X-Factor judge Kelly Rowlands and Michelle Williams who has gone on to success in Broadway musicals such as Chicago. The group broke through during 1999 with the single ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ and enjoyed international success until the band split during 2005 to allow Rowlands and Knowles to begin work on their solo projects.
With over 75 million worldwide album sales as a solo artist, the former ‘Destiny’s Child’ lead singer has also secured sixteen American Grammy wins and is acknowledged as one of the best-selling artists of all time. She has ten top five singles in the UK as a solo artist. Her newest album ‘4’ debuted at number one in both the UK and the USA. The star celebrated the release with a spectacular headlining performance on the main Pyramid Stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Aside from music, the singer has also appeared in a number of films including the final Austin Powers movie alongside comedian Mike Myers and musical drama Dreamgirls.
The main feature of the concert for timepiece collectors will be the sponsorship by the Seksy range from Sekonda watches. The prominent British brand will feature its Ivory models in sponsorship trails aired around the performance.A Night With Beyonce sponsored by Seksy watches is scheduled for broadcast on Sunday 4th December at 9pm.
