Pamela Golbin, a curator from Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris and developer of Valentino Retrospective, will host a show in Brisbane Australia showing a collection of fashion ensembles from Valentino Garvani This will be held at Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.
This show will feature fashion’s golden age and how it became what it is today. The exact title of the said event is “Valentino, Retrospective: Past/Present/Future” showing the development and the evolution of fashion and design.
It will feature the works of Valentino Garvani since 1959, up to his final design collection in 2008. It will also feature the designs of the new designers under the same label who continues to improve the evolution of the classic.
This two designers are Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli. They are two former accessories designers that helped making the name Valentino more popular since 2009. Tony Ellwood said that, “the exhibition embodies the glamor, beauty, and ambition of an age when garments were handcrafted to an uncompromising standard perfection.”
This man has become a darling to many actors and actresses including Julia Roberts and other popular figures off and on camera.
