Shoebuy.com, an online retailer of shoes and shoe-related accessories, launches a charitable campaign under the name of ‘In their Shoes’. During this campaign, Shoebuy will be donating a percentage of all sales and purchases made on its website to charity.

Charitable organizations that will receive donations are non-profit associations which focus on and support children’s health and well being, such as the National Down Syndrome Society, the Boys and Girls Club of America and The Home for Little Wanderers. Each of the three charity organizations will receive a guaranteed minimum amount of $5,000.

Bob Sherburne, Senior Corporate relations Manager of The Home for Little Wanderers said that the organization it represents supports children and families that are living amidst risky circumstances, as well as the healthy development of children in more than one aspect, such as social, behavioral, emotional and educational development. Mr. Sherburne also mentioned that The Home shows great appreciation towards Shoebuy for supporting their mission and raise awareness on children in need during these harsh economical times.

For the last year and a half, Shoebuy has helped numerous organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America, National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, The Home for Little Wanderers, Oxfam America, Two Ten and Sierra club by raising and donating over $100,000.
