The thirty one year old British golfer had won the prized U.S. Open and had also hit the winning point in the Ryder Cup playing for Europe.
He has decided to procure golf and supplies from Srixon instead of Callaway. The champion golfer spoke of enthusiasm amongst the suppliers with respect to his decision and sought to utilize the excitement to have a great year in 2011.
The champion golfer will be paid about $ 3 million per year for the deal. The deal stretches over many years at a stretch.
The British golfer had also defeated Tiger Woods in a playoff at the Californian Chevron World Challenge. He intends to use the new equipment for the first in Hawaiian Tournament of Champions.
In an exciting match-up, the British golfer will be competing against Hunter Mahan, the very player whom he defeated at the Ryder cup to win the cup for Europe.
Fans are hoping for fireworks after the intensely exciting clash last year saw Graeme McDowell take the upper hand.
