Largest Technology Innovation Conference, this September, in Houston

The Houston Technology Center (HTC) will be hosting the biggest presentation of Golf Coast emerging technology firms and companies from various industries such as information technology, energy, nanotechnology, life sciences and aerospace industries.

The Gulf Coast Innovation Conference & Showcase will comprise presentations held by 80 mid and early-stage companies during which they will highlight overviews on innovation, research, commercialization and entrepreneurship.

Attendance is open to anyone and the public of attendees is anticipated to be comprised of HTC clients, academic and institutional technology companies and technology graduates. As part of this event, there will also be some announcements for important awards.

The first annual Goradia Innovation Prize will consist of a $1m donation that will be dispersed for next ten years. This award seeks to recognize the best innovations brought by research institutions and universities, which encourage commerce in the marketplace.
‘This event highlights the hundreds of local entrepreneurs that the Houston Technology Center has worked with over the past 10 years.

The important growth of these emerging technology companies has brought job creation and significant economic development to the Greater Houston region,’ said Walter Ulrich, HTC CEO and president. The Gulf Coast Innovation Conference & Showcase will be held on September 30, from 8am to 6.30pm at the Hyatt Regency Houston, in Louisiana, Houston, Texas County.
