Fergie Under Hypnosis for Reality TV Show

A new reality TV show films Sarah Ferguson expressing her feelings for ex-husband Prince Andrew while under hypnosis.

 

The hypnosis stunt is by some argued to be another example of how far the 51-year old Duchess of York is willing to go to make money to pay off her debts. She was involved in a scandal last year, where a reporter posing as an Indian businessman offered her £500,000 for access to her former husband, Britain’s trade minister.

The hypnosis footage is a part of a series about Fergie exploring her “guilt” and the impact of the divorce on her two daughters,  Princess Beatrice, 22, and Eugenie, 21.

The Sun newspaper reports that during filming the show – “Finding Sara” – Fergie is seen lying on a reclining lounge with a satin pillow supporting her, while talking about her regrets over the split from Prince Andrew.

“He and I both wish we’d never got divorced, but we did. I wish I could go back and be the bride again, but I can’t… “He’s my best friend and the father of my children. He’s a great ex,” she reportedly said.

Although the clip is by some said to be intended as materials for the six-part series, a source close to Fergie said she only intended to for the hypnosis session to serve as off-air research.

“It’s from getting fit again through to looking at why she’s made the errors that she has made. Obviously part of trying to rebuild herself would be going to a psychiatrist,” the source said.

The show is owned by the Oprah chat show and is produced by the Oprah Winfrey Network.
