Indian actress Kavita Radheshyam announced she will appear alongside Sherlyn Chopra in Kama Sutra 3D, scheduled to be released sometime in 2013.

Radheshyam, 27, said, “…a role in Rupesh Paul’s film is an honor for me. I have seen Rupesh Paul’s Malayalam film ‘Laptop’ … the film was ahead of it’s time. The role that I play in Kama Ssutra 3D is very challenging and will hit the right note.”

Industry insiders say Radheshyam has agreed to appear in the movie. The 1996 version, Kama Sutra – A Tale of Love – included a steamy scene, and insiders say Radheshyam could appear in a similar scene along with Chopra.

Radheshyam explained the new film explores her acting capabilities and talent in every way.

Rupesh Paul, director of the film said, “Kavita Radheshyam is a very bold and daring actress … her character in the film has lots of sensational scenes and… will get lot of sympathy in the movie.”

Kavita Radheshyam is a Bollywood actress originally from Delhi and now resides in Mumbai. She became broadly known after appearing in a naked photo shoot supporting her cause against cruelty on animals in India.
