Eagle Boys Pizza is pleased to announce more than 1,000 available job opportunities across Australia.

According to the company christmas is traditionally one of Eagle Boys’ biggest pizza-making periods of the year, behind the State of Origin, football grand finals and the Melbourne Cup.

The 1,000 jobs are part of Eagle Boys’ official recruitment drive to cater for this busy period of the year, and leading into 2013.

While the number of vacancies varies between stores, the average Eagle Boys store is looking to recruit up to three new team members, with positions ranging from pizza makers through to delivery drivers.

Eagle Boys Head of Marketing Kate Pettiford said the jobs were ideal for those looking for extra cash, or interested in starting a career with one of the country’s most successful franchise networks.

“We’re looking for energetic and enthusiastic people who are passionate about delivering great taste and value pizzas to our customers, something Eagle Boys has been doing throughout its 25 year history,” Ms Pettiford said.

Ms Pettiford said the Eagle Boys stores throughout the country provide training, flexible working hours and a range of jobs.

“Working at Eagle Boys could begin as a holiday job, but for some, it can be a long term career. Some of our franchisees started as junior staff and now play an integral part in the network,” she said.

“If you’re interested in a new career or simply need some extra cash to bolster your bank balance, all you need to do is drop your resume into your local Eagle Boys store.”
