Western Australians can expect a boost in employment with 1,200 jobs on offer over the course of ALDI’s expansion in Western Australia. This boost kicked off on Saturday, 24 August for applications for the recruitment of Western Australian Area Managers.
Since 2001, ALDI says it has been expanding across the eastern seaboard of Australia and its entry into Western Australia will mean increased investment and employment opportunities for local suppliers and communities.
“Our move into Western Australia means not only job opportunities, but also the opportunity for more Australians to share our Smarter Shopping experience – guaranteed high quality products at low prices every day,” said an ALDI Australia spokesperson.
According to ALDI, it offers an intensive two year training period in the eastern states of Australia for recruited Area Managers and covers relocation costs. The pay package included a salary of $92,000 – $140,000 salary (including super) per annum over four years, a company car and five weeks annual leave.

The company said applicants required a relevant bachelor’s degree, three years business experience and a knowledge of the local area.
