Mark R. Grandstaff, Ph.D. is pleased to announce the availability of his most recent eBook, How to Get a REAL College Education.

“The job market is changing significantly. In less than a decade from now, job titles that are rare today will be very common including jobs like Artificial Intelligence Technician, Water Quality Specialist, Medical Diagnostic Imaging Technician, and Computational Linguist. If you’re going to be attending college soon, or are thinking about it, this book offers a lot of benefits. You’ll find out key courses to take, tips from other students about homework, homesickness, and studying, and dealing with day-to-day things like diversity and understanding academic life,” said the book’s author, Mark R. Grandstaff, Ph.D.

According to the author, the book is based on four key principles: interpretation, instrumentation, interaction, and inner direction – all of which he explains throughout the book. The author explains that the current job market values flexibility and curiosity, that are expressed in – for example – an interest in work and a willingness to learn and assimilate new skills. Yet, getting started – picking the right courses – can be difficult, especially with so much choice and turbulence in the economy in today’s job market.

The author says, people that want to do well in college and prepare themselves for the new world of this century will benefit from this book.

“If I can do it . . . so can you. This book is the culmination of my experiences and teaches you the ins and outs of obtaining a ‘real’College education. The book’s benefits are beyond comprehension,” said Grandstaff.
