Everyone looks to save money and often reads reviews for a product before going ahead and making that purchase. If this describes you, then you may want to check out Google Shopper. The app used to only be available for the Android but now iPhone and iPod touch users are able to use this app to check on pricing and reviews from the store.
Users are able to scan barcodes using their iPhone and iPod touch cameras in order to help speed up performing searches on specific products. Once the product has been scanned users are able to add the product to their wish list that they are able to share with others.
The phone app will also give the product prices online so that users can easily do price comparisons and also review other local stores prices in order to make a decision based on other consumer’s experiences with the product as well as the local store where it was purchased.
The Google Shopper app is not only great for scanning barcodes, but the camera can also take photos of albums, games, books and DVD covers and then the app will find the product online from the picture that users take. The app also uses voice driven searches.
Google Shopper is a free app that can be easily downloaded from the app’s review page.
