Featuring a front and rear High Definition camera with HDMI video output and Bluetooth, as well as microHDMI and microUSB, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, this tablet from BlackBerry could take the place of those offered by Apple.

Unlike iPad, this gadget features a 7-inch screen, Flash-capable video and a front and rear high-definition camera.
As for size, it has a thickness of only 9.7 mm and a weight of 0.9 pounds.
The operating system won’t be the same as BlackBerry 6, Instead, it is build around QNX Software Systems,wich RIMM acquired earlier this year.
The gadget is released at a critical time for RIM because of it’s predecessor,BlackBerry Torch, which failed to make it through the smartphone market. Further details will be available after it’s release in 2011.
As we know so far,the PlayBook will offer “just a great gaming experience”.
The Canadian company, Research In Motion, has been developing the Blackberry phone since 1996.
It commands around 21% of the world market for smartphone use.
