QVC returned to New York Fashion Week for the largest presence it has ever had in NY with the launch of its 1st pop-up location in New York City, in the heart of Rockefeller Center.
QVC’s store opened on the Friday of September 10 and marked the second annual Fashion’s Night Out, for the ultimate shopping experience from the company’s most appreciated brands and products from various sections such as beauty, jewelry, fashion and electronics.
The event was marked by the ribbon-cutting ceremony by company CEO and president, Mike George, and by Claire Watts, US Commerce’s president, together with Kristin Chenoweth and Isaac Mizrahi.
The star-studded event continued with the presence of eminent personalities like Ana Wintour and Seth Meyers, respectively Vogue’s editor-in-chief and Saturday Night Live star.
Further to the record-setting celebrations, QVC arranged for its largest ever multimedia program to broadcast the event live to over 98 million homes within the US. Mizrahi’s quilted lamb leather jacket ended up being sold out within 45 minutes, while Rachel Zoe, the iconic Hollywood stylist ,unveiled her most recent collection and debuted the first faux fur. Over 25,000 units were ordered after QVC posted a sellout.
Supporting the fight against breast cancer, the celebrated company offered T-shirts during its broadcast both on its website and at its pop-up location. 4,000 T-shirts have been ordered since their introduction.
