Kent Coast – First amongst Top 12 World Tourist Destinations

Coast of Kent has been ranked as one of the top dozen 2011 destinations for travel. Frommer’s speaks highly of the clean and well maintained beaches and the booming towns by the seaside.

The sites of Whitstable and Ramsgate have been specially mentioned. The multicolor beaches and resorts in Herne Bay’s and Broadstairs have also been praised. The guide indicated that Kent and its fantastic facilities would attract a lot of interest before the 2012 Olympics.

Visitors and vacationers can enjoy different holidays from a long weekend to longer trips. There are numerous shops with different products and options. Eating outlets are good and stylish hotels offer good quality accommodation.

Prior to the Olympics, the United Kingdom got a further boost as a tourist destination.

The readers named Ireland as the best location as Paris came close in second place. Readers praised Ireland for having everything including beer, huge castles, beautiful scenery and landscapes.

The fact that Ireland could be explored by a cycle or an automobile was a major plus. Ireland defeated options from Australasia, Greece and Italy as well.
